Guess what?

There are a few exciting changes on the horizon for us at The Queens Kickshaw.

First, Chef Evan has been busy in the kitchen, dreaming up new dishes to add to our menu. You can look forward to yummy dishes that exude comfort, balanced flavors, and cheese+beer+cheese+pickles+eggs+beer. We'll also be keeping true to our commitment to use fresh, local, and organic ingredients where possible.

Second, we'll be adding a new section to our beer menu featuring large format beers by the glass. How does this work? Well, we've rejigged a champagne preservation system to work on large format beer bottles. In geek talk, this means repressurizing an opened beer bottle with CO2 to prevent it from going flat. Beers available in large format (such as Weyerbacher Tiny, Brasserie Dupont Biere de Beloeil, Saint Somewhere Lectio Divina, and AleSmith Grand Cru), will soon be within reach and enjoyed by the glass.

Last but not least, we're gearing up to accept credit cards. Hurray! Get ready to go plastic all the way by the end of May.
